اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا
Allahumma ati nafsi taqwaha wa zakkiha anta khayru man zakkaha
TRANSLATION
O Allah grant my soul its piety and purify it for You are the best to purify it

The Prophet made this dua for purification of the soul. Recite it regularly to ask Allah to strengthen your inner self against anger and all negative emotions that corrupt character.
