اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayrahā wa khayra ma jabaltaha 'alayhi wa a'udhu bika min sharrihā wa sharri ma jabaltahā 'alayh
TRANSLATION
O Allah I ask You for her goodness and the goodness of her nature and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil of her nature
📖 متى تقرأ هذا الدعاء؟
The Prophet taught this dua for the husband to recite on the wedding night placing his hand on his wife's head. It is the Sunnah way to begin a marriage — asking Allah for the best of the person you have chosen.
