Allahumma inni 'abduka ibnu 'abdika ibnu amatika nasiyati biyadika
O Allah I am Your servant son of Your servant son of Your maidservant my forelock is in Your hand

The Prophet said whoever recites this dua Allah will replace their sadness with joy. For chronic sadness make this your daily supplication. The complete submission in its words is itself therapeutic.
