بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ وَإِلَيْكَ هَذِهِ عَقِيقَةُ فُلَانٍ
Bismillahi Allahumma laka wa ilayka hadhihi 'aqiqatu fulan
TRANSLATION
In the name of Allah O Allah this is for You and to You this is the aqiqah of so-and-so
📖 متى تقرأ هذا الدعاء؟
Recite this dua when slaughtering the aqiqah sacrifice for a newborn. It dedicates the sacrifice entirely to Allah acknowledging that the child is a trust from Him being celebrated by returning to Him.
