اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُسَمِّيهِ بِاسْمٍ مِنْ أَسْمَائِكَ فَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ
Allahumma inni usammihi bismin min asma'ika fa barik li fih
TRANSLATION
O Allah I name him with a name from Your names so bless me in him

Names have great importance in Islam as the Prophet said you will be called by your names and your fathers' names on the Day of Judgment. Recite this dua when naming your child asking Allah to bless the name you choose.
