رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal-khasirin
TRANSLATION
Our Lord we have wronged ourselves and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us we will surely be among the losers
📖 متى تقرأ هذا الدعاء؟
This was the first dua of humanity — Adam and Hawwa after their mistake in Paradise. It is the template of perfect repentance: acknowledging wrongdoing admitting complete dependence on Allah and asking for both forgiveness and mercy.
